Stanley Theatre Wedding: Alvin & Lynda

Like a lot of our couples these last few years, Alvin & Lynda met online! Alvin first contacted her on Valentine’s day and then about a week later they were off to their first date at The Whip! Now after a few years of dating, it was time to seal the deal!

Alvin & Lynda’s wedding was stunning! The part Alvin was looking forward to the most was the ‘First Look’! The rain held off just enough for Alvin to see his beautiful bride walk toward him at Athlete’s Village in Vancouver. With Alvin’s Indian background, the saris that the bridesmaids wore were the perfect compliment to the gorgeous bride. Check out the bouquets from Sunflower Florist,  We Love them!!

Now it was showtime! Alvin & Lynda had their elegant ceremony at the Stanley Industrial Alliance Stage!! What a cool venue! Included in their invitations were tickets to the wedding- how fun!

Lynda loved seeing all of her hard work come together- everything looked beautiful. One of her favorite parts of the ceremony, were the vows that Alvin wrote to her:

“It meant so much to me that we wrote our own vows for the wedding, to hear what we truly love about each other.  I am so happy that we made our ceremony personal by doing so.  And I love how Alvin cried!! He always told people that he never cried during the proposal, but I knew he did.  And he did again while he was saying his vows, I have proof of it on video now!”

Alvin’s doesn’t like to admit he’s a softy:
“First off I didn’t cry, a couple of tears came to my eye thinking about how much money we spent on the wedding”

As the day was typical Vancouver weather – we did a lot of the photos indoors. We went back to Hotel Georgia for a few photos and then to party at the reception at the Italian Cultural Centre.
