WPPI – Vegas Baby!!

We went to Vegas on a “business trip” and we did have a pretty jam packed schedule of speaking obligations, but we had such an amazing time!! I (Carissa) came home after the United Conference in Santa Barbara to see our kids for a few days, while Matt stayed a few days extra and drove to Vegas with our new good friends Justin & Mary Marantz!! Absolutely LOVE these two!! They are truly leaders in the photography industry, not just by their stunning pictures, but by their heart for other photographers.

Here’s a summary of our trip from the view of our iphone and friend’s cameras 🙂

The day after I arrived was Matt’s platform class for WPPI bright and early! We were so encouraged to see a line up of people to come in! Matt made us laugh and cry. He did a great job!!

Throughout the week, Matt spoke at the Shoot & Share booth in the tradeshow!! Their booth looked AH-MAZING!!

We had a great time in the evenings going to industry parties, dinner with friends, visiting Treasure Island and doing Karoake & limbo in the middle of the strip!

It turned out that WPPI fell over my birthday!! Matt took me for a couples massage at one of the nicest spas I’ve been to. It was definitely the perfect way to celebrate the day!

Later that day, Matt was on a panel with other people we greatly admire discussing the industry and how they run their business. It was really really good!

We ended the day celebrating over dinner with some we absolutely love!!

After a busy few weeks, we got to just relax on our last day! We ordered room service for the first time ever and relaxed by the pool. It was the perfect way to end our trip.
