Matthew & Ida Wedding

Matthew and Ida tied the knot in his parent’s backyard not too long ago, and I could not have been happier photographing this wedding! It was sooooo relaxed, AND on time, it was amazing! Everything just flowed smoothly, even though Ida changed dresses 3 times!! The story goes that as they were trying on dresses, she found the one she loved, then her mom asked her to try on one more, and she liked it, but not as much as the other one…but her mom loved it, so she bought it too!! haha!! I love it! And then of course she had a super cute traditional Chinese red dress for the reception as well to complete the day of looks!
Matthew and Ida have been such a pleasure to work with right from our very first meeting, and I hope it doesn’t end here! For now, here are some photos from their beautiful wedding in Burnaby and at the Riverway Golf Club.
Matthew had no idea that Ida had this second dress! It was a fun surprise!
