OK…so this is a special one 🙂
Ya, ya, all weddings are special, but we’ve known Hayley for so long, and she’s also been working with us for years and is a photographer herself! So when we were asked to shoot her wedding, it REALLY was an honor! She sees every outtake we ever shoot, and she knows our entire business inside and out…and for some strange reason, she still wanted us there 🙂
I met Nolan for the first time at their engagement session and he was quite openly NOT into photos, but he’s SO into Hayley that he was down for anything! He definitely relished in the moments where Hayley got her solo photos though 😉 haha!
When it came to the wedding day, they were both beaming with so much nervous excitement to start the day, it was so fun to see! Hayley planned her wedding at a time of year where snow was a possibility, but definitely not guaranteed…but she REALLY wanted a snowy winter wedding! Well… SHE GOT IT!! It all started at the Granville Island hotel, so let’s start out there…
She was very prepared for the snow in her winter boots (and she didn’t even wear socks!!)
The moment you realize you’re marrying a STUNNER!
The ceremony was held at the beautiful Canadian Memorial Church, it’s such a stunning building!
The classic “Pastor drops the rings moment” was on point! Don’t worry, he picked them up nice a quick 🙂
Nolan got the trick candle that doesn’t blow out…at least it seemed that way for the first 3 blows! haha
The reception was held at the amazing Bridges Restaraunt back at Granville Island. The view, the room, and the food are ALWAYS amazing!!
