A Wild Kratt Party for 3!

Wild Kratts has been one of Zach’s favorite shows this year! It is a show about 2 Brothers that go into the jungles or wherever and show off animals! We had Zach’s birthday Dec 16th, Gracie’s birthday Dec 17th and our nephew Caleb’s birthday on Dec 18th!! Word of advice- if you can, don’t plan to have kids right before Christmas!

Anyways, we had such a fun time with our family and friends and with our very special guest Mike from Mike’s Critters! He came in and showed us some of his crazy little animals. The catch was that in order to touch the animals we weren’t allowed to touch our faces. Do you know how hard it is to not touch your face when they tell you that you can’t??!!? All of a sudden your whole face is itchy and you have to touch it! Needless to say, it was a touch job keeping the kids from doing this!

First up, the python…

Then we had a cameleon, bearded dragon (i think) and a rabbit.

The hedgehog was my absolute favorite. It was adorable and any time you touched it, it would sneeze/burp. It was a crowd favorite for sure!

He saved the grossest for last- the tarantula. I couldn’t believe how brave my kids were!!

Matt’s sister made the AH-MAZING animal cupcakes for everyone and we had a special animal for everyone to take home.

If you watch Wild Kratts, you’ll know there is a bad guy Zach and my dad came dressed up as him!! He looked just like him. For those that hadn’t watched Wild Kratts, they though he was going through a mid-life crisis with his dyed hair. Ha!

What a great time we had celebrating!!
