Nathan & Aleta put so much thought and care into their wedding! Their wedding was a few days before Christmas and all of the Christmassy details were the perfect way to get us in the Christmas spirit! Nathan and Aleta got ready for the day separately with their parents! Once everyone was looking their very best, they were driven to the gorgeous Deer Lake to see each other for the first time. There were some tears!
Check out the gorgeous bouquet by Larissa at Bridal Beginnings.
We really enjoyed their families!! We were so thankful we could do family photos ahead of time when it was still beautiful outside!
There may or may not have been pylons preventing people from going on the tippy dock, but Aleta was determined. We were glad we didn’t have a “trash the dress” session before the ceremony!
This adorable white chapel in Heritage Village was where Nathan’s parents had their wedding several years ago….The onlookers walking by thought they were walking out of their wedding! There were a lot of little girls staring at them in awe!
Once we had all of our fun at the Heritage Village Museum, we headed back for the important part…..the ceremony! Westwood Plateau is the perfect venue for cozy winter weddings!
After the ceremony, everyone came to celebrate at their beautiful, “Marry” Christmas-themed reception!
Home-made cranberry jam, a touch of pine-cones & greenery on the chairs and a gorgeous cake made by one of our past brides!! Everything was beautiful!
