Fraser River Lodge: John & Morgan

This was an extra special day for us! Morgan is an amazing wedding photographer herself and we were just incredibly honored to be trusted with her own wedding day with John! Morgan has been to so many weddings that she was an expert when it came to her own wedding!

Like many of the couples we’ve worked with this year, John & Morgan met online on eHarmony! It was meant to be…John was Morgan’s first match! They had their first date at Starbucks and from then on they started to build their lives together.

John & Morgan hosted their wedding at the picturesque Fraser River Lodge!! It was stunning!

We love how they incorporated tartan details throughout the day!

One of the very best make up and hair stylists in Vancouver happens to be Morgan’s good friend! Jayna Marie did a fabulous job. We are always excited when we see her at the start of the day! And this time we even got to see her dancing the night away obeying the bride’s strict orders!!

Who wouldn’t want to get married at a setting like this….the mountains, the river, the green grass and the uh buffalo!!!

Having a fun wedding party makes a huge difference in the photo time! It may be hard to tell, but it was WINDY and chilly!! This group were rockstars!

Like we mentioned….it was windy! SO thankful John wore something under his kilt!

The guys lightened things up by entering with the Batman theme!!

We love Nicole from Sweet Beginnings!! She always does an amazing job helping weddings run seamless!

John & Morgan had an interesting way of choosing which table went first to eat…..musical chairs!! Watching adults do this was pretty entertaining!!

The whole evening was amazing! The speeches, the food, the dancing!! One of Morgan’s favorite parts was getting to dance as she is usually taking pictures!

It was such a neat moment…..John surprised Morgan with their first dance song!
