For the past 2 weeks, I feel like I’ve been telling everyone that if you haven’t been to Disneyland, you need to go!! I’m pretty sure it will go well beyond your expectations!! It has become a bit of a tradition to go to disneyland every 2 years ago with a group of friends. This year, sadly our trip organizer and really good friend, Natalie was too sick to go, so their family is going to go later on. They were very very missed. Thankfully, I’m pretty sure this wasn’t the last time that we were going to go to Disneyland all together! There will be a next time! A month before, my parents decided to join in the fun and with my mom being a travel agent, she was able to get some special VIP passes for events 🙂
Getting ready to board our plane!
Meeting princesses was a big thing on Katie’s “to-do” list! We hunted a few down!! Jasmine was extra hard to find, but thanks to Daddy sneaking Katie to Jasmine during a halloween event, she finally got to meet her! We’re all about good parenting 🙂
Rides were extra fun with where are kids are at now! They were a lot braver this time than last! Katie’s favorite was the Grizzly Mountain and Matterhorn and Zach’s was the Matterhorn and Buzz Astro Blasters!
Matt’s favorite seemed to be the Buzz Lightyear ride!! I kept on telling me how much Zach loved the ride so he kept taking him. I think it was secretly Matt wanting to keep trying to beat scores!! Somehow he got 772,000 points!!
My favorite… Love my dad!
The one and only – Minnie Mouse!
Katie is one of the only people I know that wears a rain poncho to the 4D Bugs Life Show! (they squirt a little water at you)
Gracie’s favorite by far were the parades!!! Not only did we watch about 8 of them while we were at Disneyland, she watches them on youtube every day since we’ve been back!
Even the happiest place on earth, there were a few minor tears.
Nana had a special pass to have breakfast with the princesses!!! Of course Katie had to fit in and look just like them!
Not sure what was going on here, but Buzz was kissing Jesse for a good 30 seconds – awkward!
One of the many benefits we discovered of having a set of grandparents with us was date night!! We actually got 2!
We had a great time with great friends and family and looking forward to the next time!!!
