Cecil Green Wedding: Brad & Taryn

Holy gorgeousness!

First of all, Taryn is just stunning! We arrived as she was getting ready with her mom and her sister in the Granville Island Hotel! Matt couldn’t find any amazing places to hang Taryn’s dress in the room so he decided out the window hanging up 3 stories was a great spot! My heart is thumping just thinking about it now!! While Matt is very daring with certain photos, he’s also very precise and careful with what he daringly does! So he washed the window sills and the glass all around where the dress was hanging and securely put the dress in place. He was confident in what he was doing, while I was having a mild panic attack! (Photographers- don’t try this at home!)

Brad & Taryn met at UBC during summer school and were in the same Physiology class and lab! They started out as friends and after a year they started dating! Brad is quite the romantic! He got ready quickly and headed to the market to buy his beautiful bride a gorgeous bouquet of roses! Taryn: “I was really surprised by Brad bringing me the flowers. That was really special for me and made me super excited for the rest of the day! “After Taryn was all ready, she headed out to have her First Look with Brad!

One thing that was really special to Taryn was being able to wear a family heart pin in her hair! “My Nana (Dad’s mom) gave it to my mom shortly before her wedding. It belonged to my Nana’s aunt. My mom wore it on her wedding, and so did my sister”.

The ceremony was held at the picturesque Cecil Green in Vancouver. What an amazing venue!! Everything was perfect. We are definitely big fans of Cecil Green Manor Park House.

Their ring bearer, Logan, was very special not just because he was Brad’s nephew, but Matt photographed his parents, Adam & Anne’s wedding several years ago! Logan was pretty adorable!
