Carneros Resort & Spa Wedding: Aaren & Lesley

WOW!!! What a way to kick off our 2017 wedding season!! Aaren & Lesley are family friends so this day was extra special for us! When we met with them a few weeks before their big day we fell in love with their approach to their wedding day: “Formal, Non-Traditional” and that was exactly what the day was like. It was perfect!

Carneros Resort & Spa was probably one of the most gorgeous venues we’ve ever photographed at! Both Lesley and Aaren got ready separately in their rooms overlooking the vineyards. Everyone was relaxed and having a wonderful time!

Lesley had her cousin, Kajsa fly in from Virginia to stand with her on her big day!

Also, it was so much fun watching Emily with the joy & love she had for her dad and Lesley!

Oh guys- this was the best First Look!! Lesley turned the corner from her room and walked down the private path to meet her groom. He was overwhelmed when he saw his GORGEOUS bride and couldn’t keep it in!

Then, it was time for Lesley to see her little man! Everett was the cutest ring bearer!

Everett walked down the aisle with his new cousin, Taylor! This very pretty little lady was fun to photograph as her family are our best friends and next door neighbours!

WOW!!  It is so obvious how much these two care for each other!

Not only was this ceremony about Aaren & Lesley becoming husband and wife, it was about all of them becoming a family! Loved this moment!

We didn’t have to go far to find the most beautiful spots to photograph!! What a gorgeous place!

The evening was simply amazing!! Everything was so laid back, but incredibly memorable!

Most of the day was perfectly overcast, which was great for photos throughout the day, but we though meant that we weren’t going to get to do the sunset photos like we had planned. HOWEVER, to make the day even more perfect, the clouds parted and the sun broke through just in time to give us a gorgeous sunset! The day couldn’t have gone better.
