Barn GEEK CHIC Wedding: Morgan & Amber

Morgan & Amber’s wedding was all kinds of AH-MAZING!!! Amber explained that “Morgan is a big fan of Batman and all things Geekery and throughout our relationship he has brought out my own inner geek. Love that!” With this obsession, it was was only perfectly suiting that their wedding was a “GEEK CHIC” theme!! If you’re friends with them on facebook, you will know that their basement suite is even referred to the as “Batcave”. Some may assume that if you have superheroes involved in your wedding that it may come out a little dare I say, “tacky” looking, but it was quite the opposite! I guess that is where the CHIC part comes in! Amber is a photographer and she definitely has an eye for details. You could tell that the two of them, as well as friends and family put HOURS and HOURS of work into the little gorgeous details of this wedding! Everything was “over the top” beautiful!!  They hired the perfect wedding coordinator for the job- Kailey Michelle Events to help pull it all together for them!! The Kirkland House was a beautiful setting for their garden wedding and of course the huge amazing barn for their reception!

Alice at Floralista did a STUNNING job with the floral of the wedding!! Absolutely Gorgeous!

As a gift, Amber even arranged for the BACK TO THE FUTURE DeLorean to be at their wedding!

There was a BIG SURPRISE for Amber after the ceremony! Amber desperately wanted her best friend, Natalie, who currently lives in England to join her at the wedding, but Natalie said she wasn’t able to make it. They were even going to see if she could facetime to watch the ceremony, but little did Amber know that she was there!!! As Amber was getting her make up touched up after the ceremony, in walked her best friend! What an amazing moment! Amber was shocked and immediately started crying in excitement!

Is that dessert table, not the best you’ve ever seen!! They tasted even as good as they looked! Two Peas in a Pod Catering did an outstanding job catering this wedding! The food was delicious!

The Father-Daughter dance was so sweet! Amber just soaked everything in and tearfully nuzzled into her dad’s shoulder!

The night had ended. Most of the guests had gone home and then Morgan and Amber shared their last dance together! Such a romantic moment!
