WOW!!! Alan & Alice know how to plan a wedding!! The little details, games, surprises, dress changes….made the day exciting to photograph and be part of! The day started off with Alice getting ready with her bridesmaids and Alan getting ready with his guys just a few floors down from the girls at the hotel. Alice was calm as could be. Alan was a little more nervous as he hates being the center of attention, but that didn’t last long!
Alan and the guys thought it was time to go play the games to win over his bride, but first there was a BIG surprise for him…
Alan was immediately blindfolded before he entered the room and when he took the blindfold off, he saw one of his best friends Wei that surprised him by coming all the way from Malaysia!!
Now, it was time to get to business!! The games were hilarious!! We could write a whole blog post on the games they played. Let’s just say they involved diapers and pudding, underwear and sharpies and the more classy marshmellow game!
Alice was hiding in the next room, watching all of the fun over face-time!
Finally, the guys paid the girls enough money so that Alan could go see his bride-to-be!
We headed to one of our favorite ceremony locations – Kirkland House to get ready into her wedding dress!
Time for the first look!!! Doesn’t Alice look absolutely STUNNING in her dress from Sophia Tolli!!
The guests started to fill the seats, while Alice calmly waited for the ceremony to start.
This! I love that even though Alan already saw his bride under the trees nearby just moments earlier, the emotion that builds up as he sees the one he’s going to marry slowly walk toward her down the aisle is priceless!
Didn’t I tell you that these two thought of everything!! We are in the middle of nowhere at the beautiful Kirkland House and……and an ice cream truck! Rocky Point Ice-Cream was the perfect way to celebrate the new Mr.&Mrs!
Now that everyone was sugared up! We got to steal them away for some photos!
When the couple arrived at the reception, it was time for the traditional tea ceremony with their families.
We LOVED their hot-air balloon theme that was beautifully incorporated into the stationary, decor and cake!
One of the best moments of the speeches was when Alice made Alan promise in front of 150+ people to give her a puppy! How can you say no to that?
