UBC Boathouse Wedding: Jennifer and Kevin

Jennifer dreamed of getting married near the water!! Living in Alberta made it hard to find a venue that showed off that dream, so the two of them had a destination wedding and brought their close friends and family to Vancouver!! You can’t get much closer to the water than the beautiful UBC Boathouse that is right on the water with panoramic windows showing off the view.

They started off the day at the Hotel Georgia getting ready with their best friends. Everyone was calm and excited!

GORGEOUS!! All Dolled Up did an unbelievable job with Jennifer and all of the ladies hair and make up!!

Kevin waited with his back turned for his bride and once Jennifer walked down the first set of stairs, he turned around to see his absolutely STUNNING bride!

After doing a few photos at the hotel, we headed out to the Coal Harbour for some photos! One of the chances of having a wedding in Vancouver is that there is a pretty good chance of rain in November. Let’s just say that their wedding is covered with “good luck”!

The ceremony overlooking the view of the ocean was incredibly beautiful and romantic! Darian Kovacs did an outstanding job with the ceremony. He knows how to make the wedding very personal and fun! But the best part of all was Kevin & Jenn’s vows to one another – simply perfect! 

The sun came out at the perfect time and we were able to get outside and enjoy the heavenly sunset right at the water! It was crazy gorgeous!!

One of the best things about rain……are the puddles afterward!

The reception was beautifully decorated and we really enjoyed hearing about the fun memories that this couple has shared! Candice Jones & her team with A Day to Remember Events  were amazing! We loved the cozy atmosphere….even the chair covers were beautifully blankets for the guests that were sewn by the bride and her mom!

Doesn’t this food look delicious?? Savoury City spoiled all of the guests with a delicious variety of food! They had food set up all around the room to allow all the guests to get to know each other more!

The UBC Boathouse is one of our very favorite spots for doing sparkler photos and the sky looked incredibly amazing that night! It was just a tad FREEZING and Kevin & Jennifer were rock stars!
