Port Moody Inlet Theatre Wedding: Sam + Taryn

Sam & Taryn were gracious enough to let us use their wedding to be featured in our NEW Promo Video!! Take a peak of the day through the photographer’s eyes…

Sam & Taryn met at the gym!! It took them a few months to work up enough courage to talk to each other! Taryn mentioned that when Sam finally asked her out on their first date, he knew exactly where to go to pick her up as he had grown up 3 houses away!!! Crazy eh?!

Sam & Taryn knew what was important to them!! They didn’t want silly traditions, or bridesmaids, or lavish sit down dinners; instead they cared about enjoying every moment and celebrating with their close friends and family.

The ceremony was the perfect venue – Taryn’s parents’ private half acre yard where Taryn grew up! They worked hard to keep their yard looking immaculate and the decor was simply stunning!! Sam showed up in his handsome suit and runners waiting to see his bride as she was getting ready inside the house. Before the ceremony, Sam & Taryn did a first look. Taryn looked absolutely amazing! We were able to do a few photos around the yard before all of the guests arrived for the ceremony!

There were no bridesmaids or groomsmen standing with the couple, just the two of them committing to spend the rest of their life with each other! So personal, so perfect! The finished off the ceremony with a champaign toast with their guests.

With Sam being a fireman, it seemed perfect for them to take off for photos in the 1954 Union Pumper Fire Truck! Taryn had a special place in mind for photos. We went to a beautiful area at Pitt Lake in Pitt Meadows where you could just barely see their family’s cabin in the far distance where Sam & Taryn have shared a lot of memories!

The pumper truck made it’s grand entrance chauffeuring the Bride and Groom to the Port Moody Inlet Galleria packed with their family and friends enjoying the start of their beautiful cocktail reception! The Inlet Galleria was transformed by brilliant work of The Wedding Design Studio!
