Intimate Crescent Beach Winter Wedding: Mark & Sheryl

WOW!! This was the perfect way to start out our 2015 weddings!! We are so incredibly thankful that Kailey-Michelle (their wedding coordinator) introduced us to these two amazing, genuine people.

Matt had the opportunity to meet up with Mark & Sheryl at their family cabin for their engagement session and he quickly discovered that these two knew what mattered most. They love spending time outdoors together, warming up in front of a cozy fire and relaxing with their adorable dog, Eddy!

Mark & Sheryl’s wedding was no different! They dreamed of a wedding that was just their family hanging out in a living room together, but fancier 🙂 It was so fascinating to see how Mark & Sheryl’s vision came to life in such a beautiful, intimate way with the talents of Kailey-Michelle Events and Delovely Creative. The couple didn’t want the typical huge wedding of hundreds of guests. They had only 7 people including themselves – only their very immediate family. It was such a special day.

Sheryl’s mom passed away and so this day wasn’t easy for Sheryl, but her and her dad were able to take some time to go through and treasure some of her parent’s wedding photos before she left to go say her “I do’s”

Mark and his brother, Matt got ready in the barn that they completely renovated to be a cozy bachelor pad, complete with a real fire, foosball and darts. It was nice to just capture the fun and competition of these two brothers.

The pair had their ceremony and reception at Beecher Place at Crescent Beach. It was unbelievable how Kailey-Michelle Events and Delovely Creative were able to transform a simple nice hall into a gorgeous, elegant family room! It was a beautiful location overlooking the water!

The cozy blanket chair covers was such a special touch and the guests were able to take them home!

Mark was just a bit happy to see his beautiful bride! 🙂

Another thoughtful detail was that each guest was given a plate with a special note from the bride and groom. There may have been a few tears after reading them!

Even Matt & I felt part of the family and got to have a little fun too!

We were SO excited to hear that Two Peas in a Pod were doing the catering! The food was beyond amazing!!

We didn’t want to leave! We had such a fun time being part of this amazing family for a day!

It is not normal for a bride to have a moment on her wedding day to sit down and play backgammon with her best friend and dad!

LOVED this dessert idea! Two Peas in a Pod presented each of the guests a caramel chocolate eclair, chocolate truffle and a warm chocolate chip cookie in hot chocolate with Baileys! YUM!

We LOVE working with Kailey-Michelle & Amy at Kailey-Michelle Events. No big deal- Kailey-Michelle is only 8 months pregnant!
